Newest updates on Kohm Yah-mah-nee Visitor Center
Goal reached!! The Lassen Park Foundation proudly announces the completion of its capital campaign to raise $500,000 for Kohm Yah-mah-nee Visitor Center! Your contributions go toward the state-of-the-art film which will be shown in the center, and to other exhibit projects. All contributions of $1000 and more will be recognized at the new center.
Kohm Yah-mah-nee is on track! Construction of the new Visitor Center at the Southwest entrance to Lassen Volcanic National Park began in April and will continue through Summer 2007 and 2008. Opening is scheduled for Fall 2008.
Thank you to everyone who has contributed to this project--we are looking forward to the opening celebration! It's satisfying to know that we all had a part in making it happen!
