Robert Ono

Robert (Bob) Ono is the Information Security Officer for the University of California, Davis. Appointed to this position in 2000, Mr. Ono is responsible for developing and implementing an information security vision and strategy for UC Davis. His purview includes ensuring the protection of research, teaching and administrative electronic systems and data and regulatory compliance. Mr. Ono has held management and operational positions in information security for over 23 years and is a contributor to national security initiatives and the news media. Mr. Ono has enjoyed annual visits to the Lassen area over the past forty years.
